Public Procurement – A New Way Forward

What works, what doesn't? What goals were achieved, where do we still have room for improvement? These are the questions on the minds of public procurement scholars and practitioners, politicians and policy-makers. Some of these questions were answered by the European Court of Auditors, Letta and Draghi reports, but some of them remain unanswered - or at least there is no consensus on what the best possible answer would be. As the European Commission takes stock and prepares the outlines of the new Public Procurement Directives, our goal is to discuss some of the most important public procurement issues - and offer possible solutions.

A fantastic list of speakers will discuss public procurement remedies, access to the EU public procurement market, sustainable public procurement, and public procurement data - key topics that have the potential to define EU public procurement in the next decade. 

The conference is organized by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law, and the Croatian State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM).
